Crows are among the sharpest feathered creatures, not to mention creatures, on the planet. Indeed, researchers have found they're in any event as least as smart as a seven-year-old human. So it shouldn't come as a stun when they discover approaches to hotshot their insight.
Yet when Oren Hasson was perched by a lake in Ramat Gan, Israel, he didn't know any of this. Rather, he basically saw a crow fly over to the center of the lake with a bit of bread in his mouth. What he caught the crow splendidly doing, however, left him in stun!
Trust it or not, Hasson would in the long run see more than ten crows fulfilling the same deed: putting bits of bread into the water, moving them around before they glided away, and catching fish with the spongy snare.
